The 6 to 10 day forecast for the Heartland is projecting cooler and drier than normal for the Heartland. Not perfect but better than hot and dry. Yet,we need perfect conditions to attain decent crops this year. We might see deeper end user buying interest on dips from present levels as the trade is still very uncertain about acreage and yield specifically for corn. Monday's condition report might show the impact of the recent heat but more market participants have learned to not try to out think the USDA. Waiting for August 12!
